Requirements

• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, crew members, visitors, and/or vendors while carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorizations, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and delivery records in accordance with site requirements.
• Help to deter unauthorized entry by observing access-control areas, reporting unusual activity, and escalating access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency and security-related response protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned terminal, vessel access, and perimeter areas, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.
