As a Security Officer Overnight Retail Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine foot and bike patrols, monitor access points, support badge and visitor procedures, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with tenants and visitors, and contribute to a welcoming environment through teamwork, integrity, reliability, and a people-first approach.

Requirements

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, common areas, parking facilities, loading areas, and the property perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate logs, reports, and incident documentation.
• Provide a visible, professional presence while supporting a welcoming environment and communicating observations or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
