About The Position

As a Security Officer - Overnight Patrol in Tucson, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of aerospace and defense facilities, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas; verify credentials and visitor authorization in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Complete accurate reports, daily activity logs, and incident documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
