As a Security Officer Overnight Patrol Relief in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a hotel or resort location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and support a welcoming environment for guests and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while responding to security-related concerns. Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to hotel and resort guests, visitors, and staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to guest concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, communicating with site management and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of guest areas, entrances, parking areas, amenities, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
• Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation while maintaining a professional presence and respectful interactions with guests.
