Join Allied Universal as a Screener in a healthcare location, where you will help monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with professional communication and customer service. Requirements

  • Must be able to work in a hospital morgue environment.
  • Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, visitor intake protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
  • Screen patients, visitors, vendors, and/or staff at designated entry points by checking required credentials, following access procedures, and reporting concerns to site leadership.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and communicating with staff and/or first responders as needed.
  • Monitor entrances, waiting areas, and other assigned locations to help support orderly movement throughout the facility and address questions regarding site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around assigned areas and the perimeter when needed, noting unusual activity and following established security-related policies.
