About The Position

As a Security Officer - Operations Rover in Tempe, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including lobby areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious behavior at the location.
• Support daily operations at a financial services location by observing surroundings, documenting security-related concerns, and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel when needed.
