About The Position

As a Security Officer Operations Center in Rapid City, SD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location.
Monitor dispatch communications, receive and prioritize calls, and coordinate the appropriate response to incidents, alarms, service requests, and critical situations.
Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident reports, and communications records in accordance with site-specific procedures.
Communicate professionally with personnel, contractors, visitors, and responding agencies while relaying relevant information in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and the perimeter as directed; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
