As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points and alarm activity, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Must have at least 2 years Security/Military/Police experience
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control/badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization as assigned, and report access-control concerns to appropriate personnel.
  • Document patrol observations, incidents, and security-related activities accurately and promptly in accordance with site requirements.
