Join Allied Universal at a premier hotel and resort location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine patrols, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. In this unarmed patrol role, you will support guests and staff with strong communication while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, and innovative approach, caring culture, teamwork, and integrity.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to guests, staff, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a hotel and resort environment.
  • Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, hallways, amenities, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points, public areas, and restricted spaces to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or policy violations while supporting a professional atmosphere for guests and staff.
  • Assist with security-related inquiries, directions, and incident reporting while maintaining awareness of changing conditions across the location.
