As a Security Officer - Morning Vehicle Patrol Driver in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Security Officer at a residential community, you will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for residents and visitors. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and use technology to document activity while demonstrating Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, care, and integrity.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential community grounds, building exteriors, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
  • Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
  • Document daily activities, patrol observations, incidents, and policy violations in clear and accurate reports.
  • Assist with access control, visitor interactions, and monitoring of residential property activity in accordance with site-specific requirements.
