As a Security Officer Morning Station Patrol in Bronx, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy government transit location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A New York State Security Guard License is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a government location.
  • Respond to incidents, service requests, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating clearly with staff, visitors, and/or the public.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, platforms, corridors, entrances, and/or perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and/or policy concerns.
  • Monitor access points and public areas, report suspicious behavior and/or maintenance concerns, and document security-related incidents according to site procedures.
  • Support crowd management, visitor assistance, and/or directional guidance during routine operations, service disruptions, and/or special events as needed.
