As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol in Oregon, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic utilities location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a utilities location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials where required, and support access control processes for employees, contractors, and authorized visitors.
  • Complete routine reports, incident notes, and shift communications, and assist with following post orders and escalation procedures for operational disruptions and/or maintenance-related concerns.
