Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting key details and reporting concerns through proper channels.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, loading and shipping zones, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and contractor access as directed by site policies, and report maintenance, operational, and/or security-related issues observed during patrols.
Support site operations by communicating with employees, visitors, and supervisors, following post orders, and assisting with incident response, access control, and/or emergency procedures as needed.
