About The Position

As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in Decatur, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant information to supervisors, site contacts, and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, production areas, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and help to verify that employees, visitors, and/or contractors follow site access protocols and posted location rules.
• Document incidents, observations, and/or maintenance or security-related concerns, and report conditions that could affect daily operations or site procedures.
