About The Position

As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in Clifton Hill, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Requirements

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Handcuffing certification is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Pepper spray certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and report unusual activity or access-control issues to appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and contacting emergency services when needed.
  • Prepare clear and accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports, and communicate observations and security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
