You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, document observations, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, security-related protocols, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, hazardous-material concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization as directed, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
  • Communicate observed hazards, equipment issues, and security-related concerns to appropriate site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
