About The Position

As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in Orange, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a government location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness through strong customer service and communication. This is a driving post. Working as part of an agile, reliable team, you will bring integrity, innovation, and a people-first approach to each shift.

Requirements

A TSA issued TWIC is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A guard card and/or license is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observed conditions in accordance with site protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and assist with checking authorized entry, visitor activity, and/or deliveries while following established post orders and property guidelines.
Document security-related activities, patrol observations, and/or incident details accurately, and communicate relevant information to supervisors, site contacts, and/or public agency personnel as needed.
