As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in Vacaville, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will communicate clearly, respond professionally to site needs, and support a caring, agile, reliable, innovative team that acts with integrity.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, access points, parking areas, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations within a chemical and petrochemical environment.
  • Monitor access control points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and report unauthorized access or unusual activity.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns accurately and promptly, while following required personal protective equipment and site entry requirements.
