As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver Security Clearance in McKinney, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment for personnel and operations. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, access points, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access control points and verify credentials in accordance with site-specific requirements; report access concerns, policy violations, and unauthorized entry attempts to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Prepare accurate activity logs, patrol reports, and incident documentation, and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
