About The Position

As a Security Officer Clearance Required Patrol Driver in Clearfield, UT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. This driving position offers the opportunity to deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and support a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that acts with integrity.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • An active Department of Defense Secret clearance is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, restricted areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
  • Monitor access control points, verify authorization as required, and maintain awareness of personnel and vehicle movement in accordance with site procedures.
  • Document patrol activities, incidents, observations, and/or security-related concerns accurately and promptly using required reporting systems.
