Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, monitoring communications, and coordinating security-related responses when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, relaying information to on-site personnel, supervisors, and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Monitor cameras, alarm activity, radio traffic, and dispatch systems to help support timely awareness of conditions across the location.
  • Document incidents, activity logs, visitor information, and shift communications with accuracy, and pass along updates to incoming personnel and management.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, with duties that may include observing production, warehouse, shipping, and other industrial areas for unusual activity.
