Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience is required.
• Graduation from a law enforcement or military police training program, or equivalent, is required.
• A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor areas, common areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require attention.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee traffic, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Support loss prevention and retail operations by helping to deter theft, unauthorized entry, and/or disruptions while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.
