As a Security Officer Metal Detector in North Little Rock, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Armed Access Control Officer at a dynamic logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify badges and credentials, monitor access activity, and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and use technology to document security-related activity. Requirements

  • At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
  • Be at least 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor entry, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, warehouse spaces, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Communicate professionally with employees, drivers, vendors, and visitors while supporting security-related procedures and operational flow.
