Join Allied Universal as a Screener in a healthcare location, where you will help support a welcoming, secure environment by screening visitors, monitoring entry activity, and providing exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Hospital vaccines are required.
  • Ability to work in a hospital morgue environment is required.
  • Ability to restrain individuals in a hospital setting is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
  • Screen patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors at designated entry points, verify required credentials or visitor information, and communicate entry guidelines in a professional manner.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns, unusual activity, and/or policy issues to the appropriate personnel.
  • Monitor entrances, lobbies, and other assigned areas to help to deter unauthorized access and support the orderly flow of people throughout the location.
  • Complete routine documentation related to screening activity, visitor interactions, and/or incident reports while following Allied Universal standards and site-specific policies.
