You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to situations with professionalism, and provide compassionate customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. Requirements

  • Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be willing to meet hospital vaccination requirements.
  • Be able to restrain individuals as needed.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
  • Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
  • Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain clear communication with Allied Universal leadership, site contacts, and emergency responders as needed.
