As a Healthcare Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned hospital areas, helping to create a welcoming and secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will respond to security-related incidents, support hospital operations, provide exceptional customer service, and operate a vehicle as needed. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Be willing to work in and around a hospital morgue.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facility grounds, entrances, parking areas, and designated interior locations to help identify and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, helping maintain an orderly environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
