As a Security Officer Medical Center in Ventura, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Officer at a government healthcare location, conducting routine foot and vehicle patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and responding professionally to concerns. You will support employees, visitors, and the public through clear communication and exceptional customer service while bringing integrity, reliability, teamwork, and a people-first approach to every shift. A valid in-state driver’s license is required.

Requirements

  • At least two years of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A Guard Card/license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at government healthcare facilities.
  • Respond to incidents, critical situations, and requests for assistance in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, and facility perimeters to identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
  • Monitor access points, observe activity, and document security-related incidents in accordance with established procedures.
  • Assist with emergency response activities and coordinate with facility personnel and/or first responders when appropriate.
