Requirements

  • Ability to work in a hospital morgue environment is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
  • Screen patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors entering the location, verify required credentials or authorization, and report concerns through proper site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with staff and supervisors regarding security-related concerns.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access by monitoring entry points, observing activity in assigned areas, and documenting screening-related interactions and unusual incidents.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, as assigned, while remaining alert to conditions that may require a security-related response.
