As a Security Officer Medical Campus Patrol in Cincinnati, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Hospital vaccine requirements must be met.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with staff, visitors, and/or first responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and activity within the location, report observations, and document incidents according to post orders and Allied Universal guidelines.
  • Support a professional environment by assisting patients, visitors, and staff with directions, information, and other security-related concerns as they arise.
