About The Position

As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Access Control in Orlando, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and control access points within the manufacturing and industrial location to help to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises.
  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to observe and report any unusual activity.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, concerns, or violations to the appropriate personnel at Allied Universal.
  • Support emergency response activities as needed, maintaining clear communication with team members and site contacts.
  • Assist with enforcing compliance with company policies and procedures related to access control.
