As a Security Officer Mall Patrol Driver in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer in a dynamic retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine driving patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and emergency response protocols within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with local management and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout storefront areas, common spaces, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or policy concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help support authorized access, observe guest activity, and report suspicious behavior or maintenance-related issues.
• Assist with security-related incidents such as lost persons, customer disputes, alarms, and/or after-hours checks while maintaining a professional presence and clear communication.
