Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and reporting unusual activity to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, warehouses, parking lots, trailer yards, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized access and support site policies.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity for personnel, visitors, and deliveries, verifying credentials, maintaining required logs, and communicating clearly with drivers and/or receiving staff.
  • Support loss prevention and operational awareness by observing trailer, gate, and dock activity, following post orders, and reporting damaged property, unsecured areas, and/or policy violations.
