About The Position

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, screen visitors, and/or document deliveries and contractor activity in accordance with post instructions.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or potential security-related issues.
  • Maintain accurate logs, reports, and access records, and communicate clearly with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related matters.
