The Locksmith is responsible for the installation, repair, remodeling, and maintenance of manual and automated locks, locking systems and security devices, computerized access control systems, door openers, closers, and hardware. The Locksmith will be maintaining an effective inventory with readily available supplies used in fulfilling customer requests in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Applicants are required to be a current Texas State Licensed Locksmith with two years' experience.
• Active Secrect Clearance or meet the qualifications for a DoD Secrect Clearance.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Nice To Haves

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the aerospace and defense location and its perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by assigned area.
