About The Position
Join our team! Install, repair, and maintain locks, keys, and electronic access control systems across campus. Perform rekeying, master keying, and security hardware installation while supporting a safe and secure environment.
Requirements
- High School diploma or higher degree.
Responsibilities
- Designs, fabricates, installs, maintains, repairs and modifies locking systems, security hardware, and access control devices for buildings, equipment, vehicles, and other secured areas.
- Performs mechanical and electronic locksmith work including rekeying, master keying, lock repair, and installation of locks, door hardware, safes, and security devices.
- Operates key-cutting machines, lock-picking tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Analyzes plans, drawings, specifications, security requirements, and work orders to determine work requirements and sequencing.
- Estimates materials and labor and recommends supplies and materials to be ordered.
