Requirements

  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific procedures, assisting visitors, patients, and staff, and supporting security-related activities for the location.
  • Monitor lobby and entry activity, verify identification and/or visitor credentials, manage sign-in processes, and help to deter unauthorized access in accordance with site policies.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
  • Answer phones, direct guests and deliveries to appropriate departments, and maintain accurate front desk logs, reports, and other required documentation.
  • Support access control and other security-related procedures for a healthcare location while maintaining a professional presence and providing courteous assistance to everyone entering the facility.
