About The Position

As a Security Officer Lobby Reception in Omaha, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location as a Front Desk Professional, where you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor activity, and support security-related operations through clear communication and attentive service. In this primarily stationary role, you will help to deter incidents while reflecting our agile, reliable, and innovative approach, with a caring culture, teamwork, and integrity at the center of every interaction.

Requirements

  • Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, vendors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific procedures and front desk protocols at a busy logistics and distribution location.
  • Monitor access to the location by greeting guests, checking identification, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining front desk logs in alignment with security-related policies.
  • Answer phones, manage inquiries, and direct deliveries, drivers, and/or scheduled visitors to the appropriate contact or receiving area.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Support daily front desk operations by observing lobby activity, reporting unusual behavior or policy concerns, and completing required incident and activity documentation.
