About The Position

As a Security Officer Lobby Reception in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, front desk protocols, and security-related policies at a hotel and resort location.
  • Monitor lobby and front desk activity, manage visitor access processes, and assist with badge, key, and credential control in alignment with location guidelines.
  • Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Maintain awareness of cameras, alarms, phones, and other front desk systems, and document security-related events, observations, and routine activities in required reports.
  • Support a professional front desk presence by answering questions, providing directions, and helping to deter unauthorized access through attentive monitoring and courteous interaction.
