As a Security Officer - Lobby Patrol in Las Vegas, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional in a healthcare location, you will be the welcoming first point of contact, supporting visitors, staff, and patients with exceptional customer service and clear communication. You will manage access, monitor activity, respond to security-related concerns, and help maintain a welcoming environment. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Possess a guard card or license preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
  • Have customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, members, visitors, and/or vendors at a healthcare front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor access to the location, verify visitor credentials as required, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate entry records in accordance with site procedures.
  • Answer phones, direct visitors, provide general information, and assist with reception-related needs while maintaining a professional and welcoming presence.
  • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activity as required.
  • Monitor front desk activity and report unusual conditions, policy violations, and security-related concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
