Requirements

  • An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, visitor reception duties, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate for the location.
  • Monitor access to the location by verifying visitor credentials, processing guest check-in and sign-out activity, issuing access materials, and communicating entry requirements in accordance with site protocols.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
  • Support a professional lobby and reception environment by answering phones, directing visitors, coordinating with site contacts, and helping to deter unauthorized access through attentive front desk presence.
  • Maintain accurate logs, reports, and other required records related to visitors, deliveries, and security-related events while following confidential handling practices for a regulated location.
