About The Position

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a tech/media/telecom location.
• Monitor access control points and help to deter unauthorized entry by checking credentials, validating visitor access, issuing passes, and/or maintaining accurate entry and exit records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established site protocols when needed.
• Support lobby, gate, and/or reception area operations by directing foot traffic, assisting with deliveries, and communicating access procedures to staff and guests.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, noting unusual activity, access issues, and/or facility concerns for follow-up.
