About The Position

As a Security Officer Lobby Attendant in Hollywood, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, you will be the first point of contact, greeting visitors, managing access, and supporting daily security-related operations with professionalism and care. Requirements

  • Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a front desk location.
  • Monitor lobby and reception area activity, greet visitors, verify identification and/or appointments, and help to direct guests, employees, and vendors according to location protocols.
  • Answer phones, manage visitor logs, issue temporary badges, and support sign-in and sign-out processes for employees, contractors, and deliveries.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating security-related concerns according to site procedures.
  • Support a professional front desk presence in a dynamic tech, media, and telecommunications environment while helping to maintain awareness of security-related policies and visitor expectations.
