Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and reception desk responsibilities at a commercial real estate location.
  • Monitor lobby activity, greet arriving guests, verify identification and/or visitor information, and help to direct people to the appropriate office, suite, or building contact.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with building management and/or emergency personnel when appropriate.
  • Support badge distribution, visitor logs, package handling, and other front desk administrative tasks in alignment with property procedures and Allied Universal standards.
  • Observe entry points, report maintenance concerns, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations, and help to deter unauthorized access through a professional front desk presence.
