About The Position

As a Security Officer - Lobby Access Control in Newport Beach, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and tenants, providing exceptional customer service and communication. You will help to deter security-related incidents by maintaining a visible presence and monitoring access to the building, all while embodying our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first in a dynamic office environment. Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and first aid certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Monitor access to the location, verify credentials, and assist with visitor management to help to deter unauthorized entry.
Assist with emergency response activities as directed, maintaining clear communication with Allied Universal and location management.
Maintain accurate records and logs of all front desk activities, including incident reports and visitor check-ins.
Support a professional environment by greeting guests and addressing inquiries or concerns in a courteous manner.
