Job Description As a Security Officer - Lobby Access Control in Newport Beach, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and tenants, providing exceptional customer service and communication. You will help to deter security-related incidents by maintaining a visible presence and monitoring access to the building, all while embodying our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first in a dynamic office environment. Requirements

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and first aid certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Monitor access to the location, verify credentials, and assist with visitor management to help to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as directed, maintaining clear communication with Allied Universal and location management.
  • Maintain accurate records and logs of all front desk activities, including incident reports and visitor check-ins.
  • Support a professional environment by greeting guests and addressing inquiries or concerns in a courteous manner.
