As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage location, you will monitor entrances and exits, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including access control measures at the location.
Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or activities.
Verify credentials and identification of individuals entering or exiting the location, following established protocols.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including emergency response activities as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for irregularities.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and any unusual circumstances according to company and client protocols.
Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and/or vendors to provide assistance and information as needed.
