As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal in a commercial real estate location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and tenants, providing a welcoming presence and supporting security-related protocols. You will help to deter incidents through attentive monitoring and strong customer service skills, while communicating clearly with guests and building management. Requirements

A guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Greet visitors, employees, and/or tenants in a professional manner at the front desk and provide assistance as needed.
Monitor access to the location by verifying identification and managing visitor logs according to site-specific policies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Assist with implementing security-related procedures and protocols specific to the location.
Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and/or concerns from tenants, employees, and visitors.
Coordinate with Allied Universal management and/or site contacts regarding security-related matters and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized access and/or inappropriate behavior.
