As a Security Officer Licensed TWIC Patrol Driver in Deer Park, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer in a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support site access and customer interactions. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license in the job state. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • A TSA issued TWIC is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities appropriate for a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, operational areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or conditions requiring a security-related response.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor requirements, and report unauthorized or suspicious activity according to post orders and site policies.
  • Support daily operations by completing reports, maintaining detailed activity logs, and assisting with security-related procedures during routine operations, deliveries, and/or site events.
