As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A state, county, and/or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and other security-related protocols at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to property contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, parking areas, common areas, loading zones, and perimeter spaces to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials when required, and document daily events, observations, and/or incidents in accordance with Allied Universal standards.
• Support property operations by assisting with directions, answering questions, and reporting maintenance concerns, access issues, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
