Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic retail and mall location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post. You will also deliver outstanding customer service, support access awareness, and communicate with professionalism while reflecting a caring culture, teamwork, reliability, agility, innovation, and integrity.

Requirements

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • A state, county, and/or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities throughout the location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout common areas, storefront corridors, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and high-traffic areas, assist with directions and general assistance, and support orderly operations during opening, closing, and peak business hours.
  • Observe and report maintenance issues, policy violations, suspicious behavior, and/or other unusual activity that could affect guests, staff, or daily operations at the location.
